Except it’s not. It’s not radical or new. National healthcare systems have been working well for years in England, in Canada, in Germany, in virtually every industrialized nation in the world. And the British, Canadians, Germans, Danes and Norwegians and French and Spaniards and Swedes and Swiss pretty much unanimously love their national health systems. And they all think the amount of money we spend on insurance, only to have to spend even more if we get sick or injured, is just ludicrous.
We just want something as good as what our neighbors in Canada have. We just want what England and Germany and the rest of Europe has. That’s all.
